Subject: FLORIDA TRAIL
Message Body: Hey there!
I was wondering if there was a trail angel list that is being worked on for the Florida Trail? I have seen a lot of people out on trail this hiking season, and did not notice a list made already. I know the Florida Trail is not as avidly hiked as the Big 3/smaller LDH trails, but if you would like to make a list, I would like to volunteer myself as a FT trail angel. Thank you so much. my phone number — 407 840 3337. Can you please make a note letting the hikers know I work a 9-5 & if they are unable to reach me via phone call that a text would work just fine. Also — my job at the Winter Springs City Hall is a waypoint for the FT passport system, so that may be a nice tidbit to add as well

Subject: Florida trail angel Message Body: Hello I recently purchased 4.4 acres of raw land at mile 14.75 on the western side of the Van Fleet trail which is approximately 10 miles from where the FT crosses at Dean STILL rd and would like to be added to the list. I have a small sand point well, camping space and some other basic amenities such as solar chargers, food, and an access point to explore the GREEN swamp. My cell is 4847676153

Lil Cub Thank you so much. I’m in the process of getting my hostel ready for opening. It’s going to be a while. With that said, I do have limited tenting, outdoor toilet and shower completed. In addition I have charging station as well as free WiFi. And I’m also still available for transportation from 331 trail head to the northern terminus at Fort Pickens. Hikers must text (no direct calls) unless otherwise noted 850-586-5555 I also want to say that the Hostel is located approximately 4-5 blocks off the trail near downtown Crestview. Lil’ Cub Hostel
